Tatton Park and Lyme Park are to host dog and car washes in Rod Bond and Formula One charity event. A two-day weekend fundraiser taking place across the whole of Manchester will bring together a plethora of causes. The Tatton Park and Lyme Park dog and car washes will donate all proceeds to Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and Dogs on the Street (DOTS). Meanwhile, other events will include knife crime awareness stalls, a Supercar Charity Event and a tank parade. Animal welfare campaigner Rod Bond and Formula One stars including Lewis Hamilton will lead an army of volunteers at the Cheshire estates. Also, vets from the dog welfare charities will be there to provide check-ups to thousands of dogs expected to attend.
Promising another great day out, in an action-packed summer holiday calendar, Tatton Park’s dog and car wash promises fun and entertainment for the whole family. The Broad Walk will be lined with arts and craft stalls, leading to Tatton Park’s iconic monument. Dog wash stations will be dotted around Charlotte’s Lawn, with stalls attended by dog experts and vets from the Dogs on the Street (DOTS) charity. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day at the main stage. The mansion will open its doors and offer an historical artefact exhibition, as part of its day of fun for all.
